    Gateway Installation Instructions

    Prerequisites

    • Installed J2SE SDK 1.4 or higher.
    • Installed Apache Tomcat 4.x.
    • Installed Apache Ant 1.5 or higher.
    • Access to the UDDI registry (not necessary for installing the Gateway).
    • JADE or any FIPA compliant agent container installed on local or remote machine (not necessary for installing the Gateway).

    Installation

    1. Get the sources of the Agent Gateway.
    2. Set the correct values in the build.properties file.
    3. Execute:
      >ant deploy

    Running

    1. If necessary make changes in the wsag.properties file in the webapps/wsag/WEB-INF/ directory of your Tomcat installation.
    2. Start Tomcat.
    3. Suppose the Tomcat is listening on port 8080 then point a browser to http://localhost:8080/wsag/ to check the installation.
    4. Start the target agent platform (JADE or some FIPA compliant agent platform).

    Note: Tomcat should have all the security policy for servlets turned off in order to enable access to the target agent platform.
